The craziest way to cross the Mexican border 🇲🇽

With my failed attempt yesterday to cross the Belize-Mexico border... I took another angle. A wet one. I kayaked to another country, across the Mexico and Belize border, by sea.

I rented a sea kayak from the same guy in Chetumal and literally jumped into it right next to his shop, whilst talking to a policeman. I even told the policeman my plan, but he just laughed it off like I was joking.

I paddled for a while to get to the land across the sea, and ended up at some guy's house, or something like that. I'm pretty sure it was Belize, but no real way of actually knowing as my phone still thought I was at the dock where I picked the kayak up.

Would you do this kayak border crossing? Or would you be too worried about getting arrested by border patrol?
