What is Skopje like at night? The capital city of a former Yugoslav republic must be dangerous at night, right? Wrong. Macedonia is a very safe country, with a mix of modern and traditional on either side of the river that splits the city. You will find new buildings, old buildings and old bazaar, some amazing restaurants and of course 1000s of insanely huge statues in Skopje.
