Biden Administration Announces Provision of M1A1 Abrams Tanks and Support Vehicles to Ukraine

The Biden Administration announced it will provide 31 M1A1 Abrams tanks, worth around $400 million, to Ukraine as part of the $27 billion committed to Kyiv's fight against Russian aggression. The tanks will "enhance Ukraine’s capacity to defend its territory and achieve its strategic objectives," said President Biden. The tanks will be delivered in months, however, training on how to use the tanks will occur outside of Ukraine.
