In the jungles, when a specie of ants reaches the pinnacle of their race and start to tip the balance of the jungle, the cordyceps for that specific species will appear to keep control.

The Chinese uses anothrr cordyceps for medicine, one that attacks and takes over a caterpillar, turning half of it into a blade of grass.

So when you think about the cordyceps fungus, there isn't a human variant because overpopulation is not real....
