Hi Friends! Today I am attempting to make a no knead sandwich bread for the challenge this month.
I hope you enjoy the video. The neighbors enjoyed the bread - they said it tasted like a good brown bread.

Recipe:
3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
3 Tablespoons shortening (butter)
1/4 cup light molasses
2 teaspoons salt
2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 egg
2 3/4 cup AP flour

Mix water, oats, butter, molasses, salt together - allow to cool to lukewarm.
Add water and yeast together to dissolve yeast.
Add yeast mixture, egg, 1 1/2 cup flour to oat mixture.
Beat with electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in remaining flour until completely mixed.

spread batter evenly in pan - let rise in warm place about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Bake at 375F for 50 to 55 minutes.
