EARTH'S INNER CORE SEEMS TO HAVE STOPPED SPINNING & COULD BE CHANGING DIRECTION

The solid inner core of earth sits in the liquid outer core, which allows the inner core to rotate on it's own, at a different speed than the rest of the planet. Researchers believe the inner core has slowed and/or paused. Some believe this could influence a pole shift, which could change our atmosphere in unknown and unexpected ways.
