What capabilities do NATO tanks bring to Ukraine?

NOTE: The footage of the blow-out panels in the M1 Abrams was test footage and did not occur combat. No combat footage was shown.

Modern Western NATO tanks bring 4 capabilities to Ukraine that most Soviet era systems lack.

#1. Modern, 2nd generation thermal imagers.
#2. Laser sights and fire control computers (some Soviet era tanks have this but they are not as advanced)
#3. Added crew protection
#4. LRUs or line replaceable units. Many systems are modular and instead of troubleshooting a system in a vehicle the LRU is replaced and serviced later or just thrown away.
