Learn why you have trauma, whether you know it or not, and why it’s important to heal from trauma. This is part one of a two part series on recognizing trauma and trauma healing techniques.

Since posting this video I have become a big fan of EMDR.

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which is a type of psychotherapy used to help individuals heal from trauma and emotional distress. It involves processing traumatic memories while engaging in specific eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation and is incredibly effective in healing past and present trauma.
