Live Coverage of Clashes in Palestinian Territories following Israeli Airstrikes

SGN is live from clashes in Al-Ram after Israel carried out airstrikes and Gaza fighters fired rockets on Friday, January 27.

The Israeli military claimed that it had intercepted three of the five rockets fired, with no casualties reported. It said its own strikes were on a Hamas rocket manufacturing site and training areas.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the rockets.

Tensions heightened following an Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank that killed nine Palestinians, including a 61-year-old woman.
