Is the Last Of Us HBO series any good? Honestly NO, it's not. The game came out 10 years ago. the GAME was & is still great.
The show should have come out 5 years ago or more. If you are making a show, you want your show to resemble the game & not to make your show feel like a video game.
What do I mean? Well, the best parts of the show are the game scenes, those are well done but are frame for frame a copy of the game. Anything outside of the game is terrible.
I cannot stress enough how this feels like "A tv show that is based on a video game, that is trying to imitate a movie. It's pure mediocrity at it's best.
Now I know I come of hard, but I did not hate the show itself, comparing it to the other woke garbage fires like SheHulk, The Witcher Blood Origin & Rings of Power, this one at least did not insult you or your intelligence.
If you played the games, you know where the story leads & the show will absolutely get more woke as it goes & I honestly have no interest in watching how this show devolves. But it is better than the other shows I mentioned.
I really don't care about the casting, especially of Joel's daughter, she did great. Understand that even though you are not attacking the kid for her portrayal, she IS A KID & that stuff is taken to heart. She was not some historical figure, she was a fictitious character, so Shut up! Elie, I don't care about the actress but the portrayal of Elie was insuferable & I did not like her. I am sure she will change as the story goes, but why are all the good guys in these shows generally terrible people. Also forever & always, F* the Fireflies because they are Antifa.
Also sorry but since this is an HBO show that is owned by Warner Bros, I will not be including any video clips from the show since I am technically not allowed by Warner Bros.
