In this video we showcase the James River Armory BM-59 available from Classic Firearms. The BM-59 is basically a marriage of the M1 Garand and the M14, making use of what armorers had on hand and could improve upon. These rifles were built from surplus Garand receivers back in the day and chambered in the "new" 7.62x51 NATO caliber utilizing a detachable 20 round box magazine rather than the older enbloc clip.
