In this video we discuss the John Browning designed Remington Model 8, or "Remington Autoloading Rifle" as they were known prior to 1911. This particular example was a second year production model manufactured in 1907 and is chambered in .35 Remington. The Model 8 has short history in law enforcement use and at least one if not two examples were present during the ambush of Bonnie and Clyde. It is an extremely classic and timeless design and was the first successful commercial semi-automatic rifle on the market, a serious game changer for both sportsman and police in the early 20th century.
