We took the Mag Tactical Systems AIR 15 Recon rifle out to the range today, and no that is not a typo. This rifle is the lightest non-polymer AR-15 on the market coming at at 4.8lbs unloaded.

The rifle's weight comes not only from lightweight components but from the proprietary magnesium alloy upper and lower receivers. This material provides for a 35% weight reduction over standard aluminum receiver sets while retaining a strength and rigidity not seen in polymer receivers.

We hope you guys enjoy the video, we will be taking this rifle back out again in the future for more official accuracy testing and long range shooting.
