In terms of machine guns, the MAC-10 has to be one of the most enjoyable to shoot and to own. The overall cost of M-10s has been pretty reasonable over the last several years in the $4-5k range. Still not cheap by any means, but at least for what some modern rifles and pistols are selling for it's an 'affordable" way to get into NFA if you want to look at it that way.
