if you get in a conversation with someone and you try to tell them how they appear, and they cannot step back from what you're saying, if they can't look at it as the witness then there's a large possibility that you're dealing with someone exhibiting signs of NPD or narcissistic personality disorder.

I come across these people often, and I realize it's because I may have some of the same traits in myself, however I still do my best to not hurt others and to be respectful.
