Wasilla Winter Chronicle Part 8 "She's Back!"

Our moose neighbor is back for another "long nosh." A Facebook poster, also in the "Last Frontier" posted a couple of young men who, while out for a walk on a trail, were approached by a moose. The encounter appeared to be benign, but a few of the commenters called them "stupid" among other things, while others like myself noticed that the moose appeared un-threatened and was just curious about the two men. Moose have been coming out out of the woods to "prune" bushes and nibble small twigs on deciduous trees because there seems to me little food in the woods, I wonder why. My moose neighbor seems to be no different. I usually only see moose once per winter and only on a very cold night. This gal has been here twice and during the warmth of day. Aside: Had to take this from my bedroom because I couldn't get my camera and get outside fast enough to catch this.
