In a Senate hearing today, Senator Tom Cotton asked Federal Bureau of Prisons director Collette Peters why so many violent felons were released from prison during pandemic and even after Joe Biden said Pandemic is over . In response, the prison director said that prison overcrowding was to blame as well as Covid policy instituted for prisons.
