Let Him Follow Me

If any man serve me, let him follow me…
This statement was made just a few days before Jesus Christ went to the cross. Jesus Christ does call on you even today to follow Him. If you truly desire to serve Jesus Christ, you must follow Him. And you must follow Him as He says for you to follow Him – not follow Him in your own fashion. If you are going to serve Jesus Christ, then you must follow Him. You cannot serve Jesus Christ from a distance. You cannot serve Jesus Christ and do what ever you want. You cannot serve Jesus Christ and serve yourself. The life of a Christian is a life of self-sacrifice – the setting aside of yourself in order to serve Jesus Christ and follow Him better and more.
