Dilated Pupils, Drugs, and Processing information

Can extended pupil dilation under the influence of drugs like LSD, Psilocybin, and
MDMA, cause the individual to process more information. If the pupil is seen the same as a camera on a shutter, might that allow more raw information Into the brain?

The long-term effects of high dose psilocybin use in these cultures have not been well studied, but it is believed to play a role in shaping cultural norms, beliefs and practices. Further research is needed to understand its impact on cultural evolution
