Tuzla, Bosnia In Winter

Tuzla is a majority Bosniak city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the 3rd largest municipality in the country. It is mostly known to tourists for its Pannonian Salt Lakes in the center. So of course I decided to visit in winter when there is no swimming and sun bathing. They state that Tuzla is Bosnia at its most Bosnian. So I had to take a look to see what that meant.

Note: There is an airport security fee that you must pay at the Tuzla Airport at a separate counter before you will be allowed to go through security and board an airplane. It was 2 Bosnian Mark in January 2023. So remember to have some cash still on you when you reach the airport so that you can pay this fee.
