Zebras: Striped Mammals With Amazing Functions

Zebras are mammals from Africa with very distinctive physical characteristics. They have a black-and-white stripe which makes them very easy to spot. But actually, more than just a physical marker, the black-and-white stripe pattern on the zebra's body has many uniqueness and functions. Each zebra has a different stripe pattern like fingerprints on humans. Even though these stripes look the same and are difficult for the human eye to distinguish, the fact is that these stripes can help zebras recognize and distinguish their family members from other zebras. The line also functions as thermoregulation.
