Creating some compost for the garden

This is how we create free  organic compost here at deep river farm. We utilize the fallen leaves off of oak trees that surrounds our chicken coop as compost we place them inside the chicken coop, and the chickens will scratch around in the S they will also to put it politely, use it as their facilities, also known as free chicken manure and this can be used as compost and fertilizer for the garden. It will take about 30 days for them to pulverize these leaves, and then they can be removed and placed on the garden.
