The Real Wolf Creek: Ivan Milat

On the 25th of January 1990, 24-year-old British backpacker Paul Onions, was leaving Sydney and traveling to Mildura to search for work, in order to continue to fund his Australian adventure.

Strapped for cash, he opted to hitchhike his way there. Eventually, a white Toyota Landcruiser would pull up to the young Brit, and he would be offered a ride by a man with a handlebar moustache, called Bill.

Little did Paul know, but his decision to accept the lift would change his life irreversibly, connecting him to seven people who also accepted a ride from “Bill”.
