What Is the Definition of Philosophy?

Somebody asked what the definition of philosophy is, so I asked an expert. Interestingly, he seemed to reiterate Norris Clarke's definition: "Philosophy is the critically reflective, systematically articulated attempt to illumine our human experience in depth and set it in a vision of the whole."
