I love flashlights, ever since I was a kid.  In 2012 while contracting in Afghanistan, I was looking for a general purpose flashlight to do a number of things for me.  First, to be bright enough to be used as a back up weapon light should I need it.  Second, to have the ability to be used on a low setting for close up tasks.  And lastly, something that would take 18650 Li-Ion batteries to that I didn't have to constantly buy expensive CR123 batteries.  The Fenix Flashlights PD32 has done a good job with all of these for me.
