The symbols carved in the rock most likely are Mi'Kmaq hieroglyphs, the circle with a line drawn thur the center w/ cross on top ... The the tipped triangle with a dot in the center ... the arrow w/ center leg symbol , can be found in this old Mi'Kmaq hieroglyph prayer book
