YOU requested I sing "AS it Was" by Harry Styles

I feel so weird singing cover songs - I mean it's still singing, it's still music, but it's not as cozy as originals. It's like wearing high heels instead of walking barefoot in nature. It's fun for a SHORT period of time. It's not something I want to get stuck in. But yeah, it's music, it all amuses me.

Still, we reach more ears when we sing people's favorite songs. Songs are amazing in that they strike a chord in US. Sometimes it's just a melody or beat and we don't even need to know the words to be moved. It's a feel.

SO, yeah I get it. And I want to provide your cover thrill for you, I really do, but there is just so much resistance in my silly heart. I practiced Sweet Dreams today and True Colors and some #norajones and #indigogirls and no matter how good and fun it is, vibrationally it's still yummy junk food to this complicated astro-suit instead of wholesome chicken soup.. so I need to go practice my original tunes emerging from my natural vibrations which are fully me, but before I do, I must admit...

I allowed AUNT NONO to take me for a ride this past month as she DOVE into #asitwas HEAD FIRST not only playing ukulele and singing but also analyzing the S#$%znit out of it.

It drops on YT at 3pm tomorrow. I sure hope to hear what you all think. This is my first time editing with a green screen so don't mind the lack of ironing and proper angles/lights etc.

And if you hate it feel free to throw tomatoes at me (but not my instruments) Saturday at @goldendropscafe 3-5pm
