I'll be sanding the inside face of the logs to give them a fresh clean look after having become discolored by various weather factors.

This isn't something that has to be done, but if you prefer a brighter look on the interior of the cabin, sanding will help achieve that outcome.

I'll also be getting the insulation board up on the gable ends, using 1" Dow Blue Styrofoam with an r value of 5.
