Large, mystery fossil bone encased in rock removed using acid (Paleontology time-lapse)

This was quite the project, I've been prepping it on and off for the past three months - for some reason the last bit of rock was really, really difficult to remove!

It was really lucky that the fossil and the rock had pulled away from each other like this one had otherwise it would have been a much longer prep. It still took a good 40 or so cycles in the acid to get the last few millimeters of rock away, especially in those grooves.
