The Suspicious Death of Serena Shim

Serena Shim was an American journalist who worked for Iran's Press TV. While reporting from Turkey in October of 2014, she was accused of being a spy by Turkish intelligence. Shim publicly denied the accusation on October 17, 2014. Two days later, she died after a car crash near the city of Suruç. With conflicting information coming from Turkish authorities, Serena Shim's family is calling for further investigation into her death. So far, their calls have gone unanswered.
