Whitefish on Larsons Reef

Fishing whitefish on 2-18-17 Saturday on Larsons Reef Sturgeon Bay, 48 feet of water fishing with my wife Jeanie, & my brother-in-law Doug McDonald of “One More Spot” Guide service. Temperature of 39 on the ice 10 MPH winds from the West, 48 degrees on shore, made for a very wet day. Not as many fish as I’m used to seeing at Riley’s Bay, but way more aggressive, and much larger in the deeper waters. A lot of bites, missed fish and losses at the hole, but barrels of fun. Doug caught 8, Jeanie caught 3, and I caught 6.
