IDW Star Trek (2022-) Review - It's terrible!

The latest run of Star Trek comic books from IDW sees Captain Benjamin Sisko return from his jaunt with the prophets to investigate how "somebody" is killing god-like aliens, such as the Crystalline Entities (didn't realise they were god-like). Handed an experimental ship, the USS Theseus, with "a crew of legends", he toddles off to sort out this mystery.
Okay, I'm only three issues in, but I'm done already. It is diabolocally bad, nay, ridiculously stupid.
The art is terrible, the story is nonsensical and the characters are completely unbelievable. The art is so bad, I had no idea who I was supposed to be looking unless they were refenced by name. It's simply a way for IDW/CBS to shoehorn popular characters (some might say side characters) into a storyline that puts the galaxy in peril. Not for one minute did I believe these were the same characters we had seen before. Even the new characters are dull. I'll give the rest a miss. My loss? Don't care.
