Strive to Enter (1) : What IS Striving?

Today we begin a series based on one of the hard sayings of Jesus. Hard not because He is a meanie, but because God's not playin' - whether we ever were or not. There is no reason to make Christianity harder than it actually is and God wants all who will to come in. But there will be a certain Press on our part to attaining all the fullness of God. Jesus wasn't talking about us earning our salvation, but rather us doing our part to value His invitation to this full, overflowing, abundant life He came to give us!
