The Balloon

Mainstream and alt. media alike were abuzz about a balloon that was drifting over U.S. air space the last two days. Even when it drifted over restricted air space, the Department of Defense said they worried about debris harming innocent civilians, so they weren't going to shoot it down. Regardless, down it went. The Universe was asked if there was information about the origin and/or intent of this visual and media distraction.
