Today we are joined by Traditional witch and host of the Lavender Scare podcast, Keanu Baxter.

Keanu takes us through their journey into witchcraft, rootwork and ancestral magick and demonstrates the need for patience and consistency in practice. We discuss their relationship with Hecate and Lucifer respectively and how these two great spirits complement each other. We get into animism and witchcraft and the nature of transformation and how igniting the witch flame affects not just our magick but our creative endeavours and our communication.

Keanu takes us through the goal of their show and how they use their podcast as a creative outlet, with music and guests chatting the weird, wild places, occult and queerness of witchcraft. A place for folks to feel safe and seen and have fun.

In the Plus show Keanu explains how they magickally play with technology incorporating the planetary hertz sounds in their witchcraft. They discuss how their ancestors come to the fore when working with plant medicines and we get a remarkable account of their work with the spirit of the San Pedro cactus and the experience known as the ascent into the sun.
