Tahmeen = complete, walk in faith, in the presence of GOD. This does not say to be perfect as in not sinning. But it does mean to NOT be involved in a sinful lifestyle.Yeshua was the object of Abraham’s faith, as such it was and is Yeshua that is faithful, that is what Abraham had faith in. That is what we are to have faith in, that HE is faithful.
It is interesting that when you look at the word for covenant, it is בְּרִית ber reeth = covenant, alliance, pledge, promise. But is from root words (it is a compound noun) so that it has the sense of cutting.
That’s how the Abrahamic covenant is is applicable to us. If you believe today, if you believe in Yeshua, you are a spiritual son of Abraham and therefore an inheritor of that part of the Abrahamic covenant.If you have believed and accepted the offer of Salvation of JOH 3:16, you are of the faith of Abraham, and therefore you are a spiritual child of Abraham.
