Septuagesima

On Septuagesima Sunday we recount our Lord’s parable the workers in the vineyard. Though life called to the Lord’s work is full of toil and labor in this world of sin and trouble, we also live under a good and gracious master who will give us either what He has promised or more. Though we cannot always understand His ways of operation, we know that He will do whatever is right because He loves us dearly.
