Bear hunting is dangerous, but not because of the bears...

Bear hunting is fatal if you can't effectively defend yourself..... from the mosquitos. That's right, its not the bears that are that dangerous, its the horde of blood sucking insects that would inject you with a thousand doses of poison.

These girls are tough though, and Christina spends the better part of a week fending off the bugs to get close to a beautiful bear.

And why do we hunt bear? For the meat and the beautiful, warm hide. We'll be sending the hide of for tanning and making our own jalapeño and cheddar smokies.
