There are a lot of people looking for table scraps to fall off the table that's easy to pick up. And when the cost of education is analyzed, we see that legal costs of bad recruiting are at the core of the high bill. School boards should not settle so many lawsuits; they should take them to court and let the story be presented there, which would help them in the long run repair their credibility.
