Shooting 23gr slugs from a REXIMEX RP 0.22 Cal PCP pistol. Yes, It can be done. We tested this without cheating, just out of the box, no regulator adjustment and it grouped within a 4cm circle at 25m. This is pretty poor but remember the rifle/pistol was handheld and it was untuned for slugs.

A silencer for a PCP need not be complicated internally at all. A simple orifice plate and a tubular construction which prevents internal air turbulence is all that is needed in order to reduce the SPL and not to interfere with the projectile trajectory. This can be seen in factory made moderators which simple consist of a "metal tube" and nothing more.

A very small impact detonated charge was placed on an airgun target. The whole point was to test if the force of a airgun pellet could detonate this material. Which obviously it could.
