In this Blindspot we cover, or rather, begin to cover, an ever-present and persistent existential threat to humanity, being the emergence, in the twenties, of the 21st century, of what Buiteboer calls - Digital Feudal Overlords, the Dictatorship of the Digitosphere, and Autopilot’s Disease in his book - Searching for Madness in the Method: this is not a survival guide to Autopilot’s disease and the turbulent twenties of the twenty-first century.

But, why resurrect old cows from this book?

One of the reasons is the release of the Twitter Files: thanks to Elon Musk, the world now knows the extent to which the Twitterverse was, under its previous ownership- and management regime, most certainly NOT a domain that encouraged ‘FREE SPEECH’.

Shortly after Elon Musk’s took control of Twitter, he started releasing internal documents that reveals how Twitter engaged in free speech suppression under previous ownership. The files were released to two independent journalists for review, Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss.

We now know, thanks to Musk & co, that there was close collusions between Twitter Inc & the CIA, FBI, US DOD, the CDC and other three-letter acronym agencies that banned, shut down, and censored the proverbial $hit out of anyone who dared to address issues/topics/subjects the Digital Feudal Overlords (DFO) deemed unacceptable on the ‘virtualised public square’.

It is quite astonishing how little debate there is on these revelations. Some media carried a few headlines, but, like the family member no-one wants to acknowledge, the Twitter files’ shocking implications are quietly ignored while most wish the inconvenient truths it exposes will just go away.
