Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the huge ruling last week out of the 5ht Circuit Court of Appeals, in the case of United States v. Rahimi, which found that 18 USC Sec. 922(g)(8), which prohibits possession of firearms by those merely accused of domestic abuse, does not withstand the historical analogue scrutiny as announced in the Bruen opinion. Consequently, Mr. Rahimi's conviction of being in unlawful possession of a firearm was overturned. (Note, his other convictions for multiple counts of assault with a firearm were not).
