MILD SPOILERS AHEAD
Disney graced us with two episodes of The Bad Batch this week! The Clone Conspiracy and Truth & Consequences sees the Imperial Senate wrestling with the conundrum of what to do with the Clone Army. Admiral Rampart wants them decommissioned i.e. disposed of, while some senators want them to be treated fairly and retired with pensions et cetera.
When a clone trooper threatens Admiral Rampart with going public about the destruction of Kamino, Senator Chuchi, Captain Rex and Clone Force 99 are drawn into the conspiracy. This was a great two-parter where we see what lengths the Emperor will go to achieve his goals, in this case, the creation of the Imperial Stormtrooper army. Great action and animation, as usual, and thankfully, not another filler episode. 8/10
