The civilian infrastructure of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics is under constant shelling. People are admitted to local hospitals with serious injuries. All the victims led a normal life: they went to the market, to fetch water, and were visiting friends. But this did not save them from the cruelty of the Ukrainian militants. Someone came under fire, someone stepped on the ‘petal’ mines that were scattered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Injuries often leave civilians permanently disabled.
