"Touchdown Treat: Super Bowl Stir Fry Beef Jerky in a Nesco Dehydrator"
Ingredients:
* 1 pound of beef (flank steak or sirloin work well)
* 1 cup of soy sauce
* 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
* 1/4 cup of brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons of honey
* 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
* 2 teaspoons of onion powder
* 2 teaspoons of paprika
* 1 teaspoon of black pepper
* 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
Instructions:
1. Start by trimming the fat from the beef and slicing it into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
3. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results
4. Arrange the marinated beef strips on a wire rack set over a baking sheet, making sure they are not touching each other.
5. Bake in the oven for 2-3 hours or until the beef is fully dried and slightly chewy. If using a dehydrator, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
