EXPLORING AN ABANDONED WWII BUNKER (TNT STORAGE)
49
We explore (urbex/urban exploring) the abandoned bunkers located in Busch Wildlife (August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area). In the early 1940s, this area was used by the Army as a TNT munitions plant to support the World War II effort. From 1958 through 1967, The Atomic Energy Commission used the area for the disposal of waste that was contaminated by uranium.
