Sheetrock is TRANSFORMING Our 1890's Fixer Upper!

With drywall going up, we are one step closer to completing our project house and getting it ready for guests! The house feels, smells and looks so different already with just a few sheets up. As it is with any new project we begin, it takes us a minute to find a system that works for us and get into a groove. This was no different. From not having the right length screws OR sheetrock, to getting used the drill with the special drywall bit, I was getting pretty frustrated and it permeated my entire first sheetrock day.
With the sun FINALLY shining up here in the Northwoods, it completely changed my attitude and we came back ready to keep tackling the rest of the house. One more solid work day before Ted was off to work at the hospital again. We made sure to make the best of the hard days, laugh at our mistakes and of course have so much fun spending time with each other on this massive project.
