Solarpunk is a subgenre of science fiction and speculative fiction that focuses on a hopeful vision of the future where humanity has learned to live in balance with nature and has developed sustainable technologies to address the challenges of climate change, social inequality, and other global issues. Solarpunk seeks to inspire readers to imagine a future that is not only better than the present, but one that is possible to achieve through the collective actions of individuals and communities.
