Beautiful AGATE polished by using sponge pads UNDER flat lap discs [lapidary]

In this lapidary video we are using sponge pads with our flat lap discs for the first time to polish a beautiful Lake Superior agate! This agate stone was cut in half in a previous video and has been dopped, now it is time to polish it! We are giving this gem of an agate a rounded convex face polish and it turned out fantastic! Although I still have to train myself to use these padded polishing discs, my first time using them went great and I prefer the sponge pads over the non padded discs. I also used a 50,000 grit paste to finish the polish and it truly brought the polish to the next level, we will share more lapidary videos using these in the future so make sure to subscribe so you dont miss those adventures!
