An Agates Journey | Found, "Polished", & Perfected (LAPIDARY)

Back in 2019, I found an agate.. that's where this story begins. While rockhounding along the south shore of Lake Superior we found a Lake Superior agate. Then in 2020 we used our dremel and wet sand paper so "polish" this agate. It looked terrible. Anyway, its now 2022 and we are fixing this rough polished lake superior agate and are going to turn it into a perfectly polished specimen! Thank you for watching this lapidary video with a twist of a throwback to a rockhounding video and another old lapidary dremel video. The old rockhounding vieo takes place on the South Shore of Wisconsin on Lake Superior where we were agate hunting for lake superior agates on the beach. Then in the next video I use my dremel 3000 for grinding and use wet sand paper to hand polish this agate. It didn't go well but it is what it is. That leads us to now where we can take our agate and give it a perfect polish in around 15 minutes!
